“ Ko-li is a cute dessert shop in a tiny strip mall next to Starbucks. The place is nice and clean. The service was fine, but since you order on an iPad and they just hand you the dessert when ready, it's hard to say they're friendly (or not) The dessert was good. Nicely shaved ice and a strong uji matcha flavor. It was a tiny bit too sweet for my liking but overall excellent. That said, there are better shaved ice places in my hometown so I wasn't amazed. ”
“ Best shaved ice in all of SD! And the workers here are so sweet and it doesn't take long to get your shaved ice after you order even if there is a long line. It's really cute and small inside and you feel like you're transported to a different country when you come here. Also each table has different 3D figures under the glass a which makes it fun to go sit at different tables each time you come. The strawberry shaved ice is the best here. They do have other flavors but that is their best flavor. They also always have seasonal flavors going on and they had a purple sweet potato one in the fall that looked phenomenal. The shaved ice are pretty large and I do recommend sharing a bowl amongst 2-3 people unless you end up ordering the cup which is enough for one person. The great thing is they also have non dairy options! Perfect for your friends who can't have dairy :) ”

“ My mom and I love coming here for a special outside treat on hot days! We have a Kakigōri machine at home but we only make simple ones so coming here is a truly elevated treat. We ordered the Uji Matcha which comes with a matcha syrup, anko, strawberries and mochi topping. The best surprise was a soft house made cream in the center!! ”

“ Wow! I think my husband, friends, and I hit the jackpot when we decided to try Ko-Li Bar! My husband is a huge fan of shaved ice and the only quality shaved ice dessert we liked was in Hawaii. Ko-Li Bar is definitely up on the same level as shaved ice in Hawaii and we are so beyond grateful that we finally found amazing shaved ice near us. We haven't had quality shaved ice in about 2 years and Ko-Li Bar made a lasting impression on us. The service was fast and the girl behind the counter even told my husband that the ice is imported from Japan. She even showed my husband the ice. To have ice being shipped internationally is worth it because we can taste the difference from other shaved ice. We loved the ambiance of this place- we sat at a glass table with little Shiba Inu figurines and it was so cute- there were other glass tables that had unique designs and figurines in them, it was interesting to see. If our other friends are coming to visit us from OC/LA, this is probably one of the top dessert places to go to. This might be our #1 go to for shaved ice! We will for sure be back! ”
“ I usually don't like shave ice, but this was so good I had to give 5 stars! We got the tiramisu one, which was a little pricy ($18) but it was huge. They make their own syrups so it's not sticky sweet. Plus it was so cute!!! The girl who made it put so much details and effort, it was adorable. A little expensive but come here if you can! ”
